Our client aernment organisation based in Manchester is looking for a self-starter and driven Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their team.
Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for;
1. Producing timely and accurate financial monitoring and statutory reports.
2. Supporting the development and implementation of financial systems, processes, and policies.
3. Delivering monthly management information packs and supporting budget holders with variance analysis.
4. Assisting in the preparation of the Annual Statement of Accounts and other statutory returns.
5. Maintaining and improving financial systems and providing training to staff.
6. Supporting transactional processing, including procurement cards, expenses, and payroll.
7. Providing cover for the Management & Financial Accountant when required.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Previous experience in a similar, preferably in the public/ not for profit sectors but not essential.
9. Studying towards a accounting qualification/ be part-qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
10. Experience in financial management within a customer-focused or public sector environment.
11. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpretplex financial data.
12. Excellentmunication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
13. A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to managepeting priorities.
