HEAD SOMMELIER/ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER

We want to find enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for world wines and restaurants.

Today, Penmaenuchaf is an exemplary small luxury hotel, acquired by Seren in 2022, a unique collection of high-quality hospitality venues in Wales. The hotel is highly regarded as one of the finest privately-owned country house hotels in North Wales. At the foot of Cadair Idris in the heart of the national park, the 14-bedroom hotel holds a coveted 'Michelin Key' and also home to an excellent restaurant, renowned for a wonderful wine list.

Seren currently includes the 5 Red star and 4 AA rosette Grove of Narberth hotel, Michelin starred Beach House Restaurant in Oxwich and the Lan y Mor restaurant in Saundersfoot.

We are now looking for a passionate and dedicated Head Sommelier or Assistant restaurant Manager to join the team at Penmaenuchaf.

A successful candidate will ideally have:

· Passion for world wine and spirits with at least WSET 3 and or CMS.

· Passionate about offering a sincere customer experience.

· Experience as a head sommelier in a similar fine dining environment.

· Resilient and hard working.

· Great people skills.

· Dedicated and excellent team player.
