Your impact
Working on this strategic high-profile and technically complex international piling project involving the construction of large-diameter piles for multiple buildings. As the Geotechnical Lead, you will be part of a dedicated onsite geotechnical team. Leading from the front, you will be responsible for the overall geotechnical strategy, execution, and quality assurance of the piling works, ensuring technical excellence and maintaining alignment with project objectives.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Lead the geotechnical team on-site, providing technical direction and mentorship.
* Oversee quality assurance and compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
* Manage and review large-diameter pile construction activities across multiple building sites.
* Liaise directly with senior stakeholders, including project managers and client representatives.
* Ensure timely reporting, documentation, and resolution of geotechnical issues.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical solutions into broader project goals.
Here\'s what you\'ll need
Offered on a fixed term of 12 months, we are keen to see applications from candidates who have a demonstrable Qualifications & Experience
* PhD-level qualifications in Geotechnical Engineering or Soil Mechanics related discipline.
* Proven experience in geotechnical engineering with a focus on piling design and construction.
* Demonstrated leadership in managing site-based engineering teams.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE).
* Willingness to work in a site-based expatriate role (India).
