About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable HSC Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Harrow from September. This is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal HSC Teacher will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 4. We are looking for a dedicated HSC Teacher.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging HSC Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
* Develop students' understanding of health and social care principles.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the HSC curriculum and resources.
* Organise and lead HSC-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Health and Social Care.
* Proven experience in teaching HSC at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge and understanding of health and social care.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
