We're hiring and on the lookout for someone to join our wonderful creative team in Brighton

Job Title: Copywriter and Campaigns Manager

Department: Brand Marketing

Reports to: Creative Director

Direct Reports: Graphic Designers & Video Editor


The Role:

You are a concept-first creative and a top-tier copywriter. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of a campaign across both Lucy & Yak and L&Y.

We don't just need "ideas people"; we need architects of the brand experience. You’ll take a spark of an idea and map out exactly how it lives across every single touchpoint, from the subject line in an inbox to the signage in our stores, ensuring the story remains potent and consistent throughout.

You are the architect of the brand experience. You’ll take a spark of an idea and map out exactly how it lives across every single touchpoint. Beyond the ideas, you are a leader, managing our Graphic Designers to ensure every asset produced is world‑class, on‑brand, and aligned with our mission.


What You’ll Be Doing:

Campaign Architecture: Dream up the "Big Idea" for seasonal launches and build the roadmap for how it comes to life. You’ll ensure the campaign cements Lucy & Yak as the leader of the comfort movement.

Creative Leadership & Management:

* You will be the direct line manager for our Graphic Designers.
* Oversee their day-to-day output.
* Review their work for quality and brand consistency before final sign‑off with the Creative Director.

360‑Degree Execution: See the campaign through from start to finish. You’ll develop concepts, review them with the CD, and work with the full photoshoot team to bring that vision to reality.

Touchpoint Mastery: You ensure the story is seamless and optimised everywhere it lives. You'll own the copy and creative flow for Lucy & Yak and L&Y for:

* Campaigns: Key messaging across all campaign touchpoints
* Digital: Website banners, landing pages, and social storytelling.
* Search & Content: SEO‑optimised blog posts and on‑site SEO to ensure our mission is discoverable.
* CRM: High‑engagement email marketing and ad copy.
* Physical: Point of Sale (POS) and in‑store experiences and events.
* PR: Awards entries, LinkedIn thought‑leadership posts, and PR copy that celebrates our wins

Cultural Pulse‑Checking: Stay tapped into politics, fashion, and social justice, ensuring we stay at the forefront of the cultural conversation to inform future campaigns, ensuring we stay relevant and create content that our community truly aligns with.


What you'll bring:

* Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in a creative role, with a portfolio that proves you can handle both big‑picture thinking and meticulous execution.
* Be A Full‑Picture Thinker: You understand how a campaign pivots between a mobile screen and a store window or Out of Home advert.
* Be A Strategic Storyteller: You have a proven track record of building integrated campaigns. A background in a creative agency is preferable.
* Concept‑to‑Delivery Pro: You have experience working with multidisciplinary teams to bring a vision to reality.
* Have the Right Tone of Voice: You can write memorable and inclusive copy that feels like a conversation with a friend.
* Be Collaborative & Decisive: You enjoy the full creative process, from working closely with the brand team and designers while taking direction and sign‑off from the Creative Director.
* Be Culturally Plugged‑In: You don't live in a bubble; you know what the world is talking about and how Lucy & Yak and L&Y can authentically join that conversation.
