Role: Funding Projects Officer REF 1721647 Contract Length: 6 months Location: Hybrid/Walsall – 2 days in office per week IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: £29.06 per hour Spinwell is recruiting for a Funding Projects Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FUNDING PROJECTS OFFICER The client is looking for an experienced and passionate funding officer to support delivery of strategically important projects including their Crowdfund Walsall Programme. Building relationships with VCSEs, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and success of our crowdfunding campaigns. You will lead on advisory support, project pitches, workshops and marketing and publicity including social media. You will develop and sustain effective relationships with a broad range of partners, linking people together for the benefit of maximising funding opportunities. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE FUNDING PROJECTS OFFICER Be experienced and have good working knowledge of the VCSE sector. Be a successful fundraiser / bid writer. Have outstanding project delivery and communication skills, including writing and presenting information for diverse audiences. Be able to deliver in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines, with the support of a friendly team. Good digital skills including social media.
