Our Cheltenham-based client is looking for a Production Administrator to join their team.
The role of the Production Administrator is to support the production function by performing administrative duties, maintaining a positive company image whilst acting as the point of contact for customers and suppliers. You will communicate directly with customers and the production team regarding issues and updates. Managing correspondence by answering phone calls, emails, and sorting post, as well as liaising with the Production Manager.
Job role:
1. Participate in internal production meetings
2. Manage and maintain the order book
3. Order entry and acknowledgment (using bespoke MRP system)
4. Procure raw materials
5. Conduct contract reviews
6. Manage subcontractors
7. Arrange and take notes at production meetings
8. Assist the production team
9. Maintain reports
General responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with policies, especially Quality and Health & Safety procedures
* Uphold and contribute to company standards
* Be adaptable to transfer to other divisions as part of training or business needs
About you:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Works well under pressure
* Professional demeanor with excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Qualifications/Skills:
* GCSE A-C or equivalent
