About the role:
We are seeking for enthusiastic part time KS2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils within KS2 classroom settings. This role is ideal for someone looking for cover work and will help create positive learning environments where every child can thrive. This role requires someone who is confident, caring and is able to adapt to meet a wide range of needs and abilities.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
* To be able to use initiative and remain flexible within a busy and dynamic school environment.
* Provide support for pupils aged 7-11 years, both on a one-to-one basis and in smaller groups.
* Assist with classroom organization and resources.
* Foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment
We’re looking for someone who:
* Experience working with children (KS2 based experience desirable but not essential)
* Holds a relevant Qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in childcare or Teaching assistant certificate) The schools have stated this is desirable but not essential.
* Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum, preferably KS but this isn’t essential.
* A patient, positive and flexible approach.
* Abilities to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
* Commitment to supporting the learning and development of all children.
* A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
