There is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Research & Development team as a Research Assistant. The role will support Research Nurses and R&D Management, carrying out a large range of administration and data‑related tasks.
Responsibilities
* Schedule study appointments and support the monitoring of research participants.
* Assist Research Nurses with administration and data‑related tasks.
* Record accurate participant data using electronic patient‑management systems and web‑based study‑specific IT systems.
* Assist with the EDGE clinical research system, including training of active staff in its use and creating reports for team members.
* Perform general administrative duties within the Research & Development team.
Qualifications
* Excellent organisational and people skills.
* Knowledge of relevant research legislation (gained through education and/or experience).
* Excellent IT skills are essential; experience with the EDGE clinical research system is highly desirable.
* Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check required.
Location and Travel
* Primarily based within Forth Valley Royal Hospital, with flexible work across NHS Forth Valley.
* Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential.
