The Role
You'll play a key role in supporting pupils aged 4–18 with a range of complex needs, including autism, PMLD and SLD. This includes:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual learning needs.
* Assisting with classroom activities, behaviour support, and personal care when needed.
* Encouraging communication, social interaction, and life skills.
* Helping prepare engaging resources to support personalised learning.
* Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure consistency of support.
What We're Looking For
* GCSEs in English & Maths (grade 4–9 or equivalent).
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school or care background).
* A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
* Flexibility and initiative to adapt to pupils' needs.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with pupils and staff.
