General Practitioner – Penrhyn Bay Surgery
Job Summary
Penrhyn Bay & Deganwy Medical Centre is a friendly, highly regarded practice with a list size of 6,500 patients, situated on the North Wales coast close to Llandudno.
We are looking for a GP to join our practice as a GP Partner or salaried GP with a view to partnership in the future. Flexibility in the number of sessions is provided to suit work‑life balance. Special interests will be facilitated, and academic, clinical management, and professional development support will be offered. The practice will soon become a training practice, and we will support applicants willing to become trainers. We are willing to mentor new or returning GPs.
Responsibilities
* Provide medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS Contract and adhering to GMC standards for good clinical practice.
* Contribute to effective management of the practice, leading by example and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Full GMC registration on the National GP Register.
* Experience working in a primary care setting.
* Experience working with the EMIS system (desirable).
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
* MRCGP Vocational Training Certificate.
