Key responsibilities
1. Data Insights: Leverage Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Business Intelligent tools to accelerate development and implementation of Governance programs establishing best practices and enhancing existing data solutions. Build and maintain dashboards, datasets, and analytics, automating governance/ project requirements and data quality checks.
2. Process improvement: identify waste, propose and pilot improvements (., workflow automation, standardized templates), and quantify impact on cycle time, quality, and scalability.
3. Work management: create and manage deliverables and epics in Jira; maintain clean boards, and run bulk maintenance updates of our book of work, ensuring hygiene issues are resolved promptly and within SLAs
4. Stakeholder engagement: Taking ownership of managing our group’s tools Inventory by engaging with tools owners, ensuring inventory’s data is complete and accurate, running attestation cycles, reporting development SLAs for new ideas and running review calls with SMEs to support building of ideas into new tools
5. Collaboration and product partnership: Work closely with our diverse engineering teams to support strategic initiatives by tracking actions, following to completion and presenting progress of scope and delivery plans; communicate decisions and rationale clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
6. Demonstrated ability and willingness to do both:
Project management ownership (structure, planning, execution rigor), and
Hands-on technical/analytics work (data, dashboards, automation, AI-assisted delivery).
7. Practical use of Data Insights tooling
Hands on experience using AI assistants (., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar) to accelerate analysis and delivery tasks with appropriate validation and controls.
Practical experience with BI and analytics tools (., Tableau, Alteryx or similar) used to build/enhance dashboards and reporting.
8. Project management:
Strong planning, scheduling, dependency management, and risk/issue tracking.
Demonstrated ability to self-manage workload, meet target dates, escalate early with clear options and impacts.
9. Communication and presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of structuring narratives, building executive-ready decks, and presenting topics to diverse stakeholders.
10. Delivery mindset:
Proactive, accountable, and outcomes-oriented; willing to ask clarifying questions, challenge assumptions, and seek help to keep work moving.
Strong prioritization skills to balance scope, time, and quality.
Preferred qualifications or relevant experience
11. Certifications or relevant experience: Project Management and use of AI tools
12. Exposure to data governance, lineage, and controls.
13. Experience with stakeholder management across diverse tech and non tech partners in large-scale organizations.
14. Nice to have: Experience with SDLC and familiarity with Git-based workflows and basic scripting
