Futures recruitment are working with a well known manufacturing business who are going through a period of continued growth. We are looking to appoint a professional and personable Service Desk Coordinator to join the team. The Service Desk Coordinator will be the first point of contact for visitors, suppliers, and contractors arriving on site. This role combines front-of-house reception duties with general administrative responsibilities, ensuring the smooth and professional operation of our service desk. The successful candidate will be highly organized, approachable, and proactive, with excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update visitor logs, contractor schedules, and supplier records. Provide administrative support, including filing, document preparation, and data entry. Support coordination of deliveries and contractor activities in line with company processes. Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring adequate stock is available. Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing meeting rooms, and supporting site events. Greet and welcome visitors, suppliers, and contractors to the site, ensuring a professional and positive first impression. Manage the visitor sign-in process, issue passes, and follow site security procedures. Coordinate incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries, directing them to the appropriate teams. Skills & Experience Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone. Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or administrative role (ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment). Professional, approachable, and customer-service focused. Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player. Knowledge of site health and safety or contractor management processes (desirable).
