A highly regarded and welcoming primary school in Ware, Hertfordshire is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Class Teacher to join their supportive team. This is a full-time, permanent role beginning on Tuesday 22nd April.

About the Role
* Position: Year 2 Teacher
* Location: Ware, Hertfordshire
* Contract: Full-time, permanent (term time + INSET days)
* Salary: MPS1 to MPS6 (dependent on experience)
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and effective lessons, fostering a love of learning, and supporting children to reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.

We’re seeking a teacher who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Is innovative, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement
* Has strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
* Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
* Understands that behaviour is a form of communication and can use positive strategies to support pupils
* Has excellent spoken and written English and a sound understanding of Maths
* Is able to commute to Ware and fully commit to the life of the school
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' needs
* Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
* Create a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and resilience
* Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external partners
* Contribute to the wider school life through extracurricular and enrichment activities
