We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Science Supply Teacher to join a fantastic school in the Cheshire area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons to students with special educational needs.
You will be working in a supportive environment that values creativity, adaptability, and a student-centred approach to learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons tailored to the needs of all learners
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively and positively
* Support students with a range of learning abilities, including those with autism and other additional needs
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
* Ensure safeguarding and school policies are always upheld
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and/or 4
* Understanding of special educational needs, particularly autism (desirable)
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* A flexible, proactive, and supportive attitude
