Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager
to join the team on a part time, permanent basis. In return,you will receive a competitive salary of
£41,790 to £44,339 per annum (pro rata).
We are a high-achieving college who attract around 2,800 sixth form students across the region each year. We are based within the stunning New Forest National Park and offer our students a huge range of courses and superb facilities.
About the role:
As the
Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager, you will lead on the implementation and development of quality assurance and compliance procedures that meet both internal and external requirements for all provision types. The postholder will ensure compliance and awarding organisation requirements, as the awarding body nominee and support continuous improvement of the learner journey through monitoring, review and evaluation process.
Responsibilities as our
Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager
will include:
Acting as the College's Quality Nominee for all awarding organisations, managing annual declarations, reviews and request for information.
Leading, monitoring and developing quality assurance processes across the college to ensure compliance with awarding body requirements.
Leading on the college's internal quality assurance and lead Verifier processes, ensuring timeliness, succession planning and consistency across teams.
Monitoring the impact of IQA processes, implementing improvements where needed to enhance learner outcomes.
Maintaining and updating registers of LIVs (Curriculum Leader and or Co-Ordinator) and other quality roles across the College.
Ensuring effective support for teams delivering new courses and record removal of courses no longer in delivery.
Supporting and reviewing the Assistant Principal on college policies and procedures related to quality assurance.
As our
Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager
, you'll
ideally have:
Level 3 qualification
Strong IT and administrative skills
Evidence of continued professional development relevant to quality assurance and compliance.
Commitment to represent and embed a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion across the work of the College.
Belief in the advantages, benefits and ethos of a post-16 college experience.
Awareness of, and be sympathetic to, the needs of post-16 students.
An understanding of and support for the College's Tertiary vision to offer a range of provision that meets the needs of students and wider community.
An understanding of, and empathy for the demands and challenges students and colleagues face in a college environment.
A consultative and democratic approach to leadership and management.
An understanding of the importance of open dialogue and effective communication.
Proven ability to analyse data and use it to inform decision making and drive improvements.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage complex processes and deadlines.
Good knowledge of assessment, verification and exam processes.
Evidence of ongoing professional development and training.
Experience of leading a team
The successful candidate may have a higher degree in a relevant discipline.
