We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Operations Team!
About The Role
Joining us as a Supply Chain Manager, you'll support delivery teams by assessing resource requirements and managing day-to-day activities. You'll ensure all team objectives are met within time, cost, and budget constraints. You will drive service standards, influence profitability, manage budgets, ensure Health, Safety & Environmental compliance, and maintain excellent customer relationships.
About You
Candidates should be able to work independently or as part of a team, with proven experience in a similar role. You should have excellent leadership skills, motivating, supporting, and mentoring teams to deliver excellent customer service.
Key Attributes of This Role
1. Sourcing subcontractors
2. Supporting onboarding, including cost negotiations and inductions
3. Providing portal training and support for subcontractors
4. Developing the subcontractor portal
5. Managing subcontractor compliance
6. Coordinating subcontractor communications
7. Maintaining supply chain partner data on system
8. Supporting operations with WIP reduction
9. Scheduling performance reviews
10. Facilitating toolbox talks and information updates
11. Meeting with subcontractors and operational teams to resolve issues
12. Handling escalations for SCPs
13. Developing relationships with key suppliers
14. Project management skills
15. Interpersonal skills
16. IT skills and system proficiency
You must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence for at least 12 months, as a company vehicle will be provided. Flexibility to travel around the area is required.
