Job Title:Primary Teacher – Maternity Cover (Grimsby)
Location: Grimsby
Contract Type: Full-time | Fixed-term (May 2026 – July 2026)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Grimsby on a maternity cover basis. This full-time position will commence in May 2026 and run until July 2026, covering the summer term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to provide continuity of learning and maintain high standards within a supportive and well-established school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Monitor and track pupil progress effectively
* Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
* Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour standards
* Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school
* Strong curriculum knowledge
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A proactive and adaptable approach
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
