Job Title: Health & Safety Manager
Location: Essex, Surrey and London (with travel across 12 group sites)
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000
We are recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager to bring an external consultancy function in-house for a growing construction group with multiple offices and sites across Essex, Surrey and London.
This is a key role responsible for developing, embedding and managing Health & Safety systems across the business, supporting senior leadership and driving continuous improvement.
The Role
* Bring the existing H&S consultancy service in-house and manage it internally
* Travel periodically across all 12 group sites to audit, advise and support teams
* Develop and implement company-wide health & safety policies and procedures
* Support operational teams with guidance, training and compliance
* Carry out site inspections, audits and incident investigations
* Ensure the business remains compliant with current H&S legislation and best practice
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager or Senior Advisor role
* NEBOSH qualification (essential)
* IOSH membership (essential)
* Strong background in construction or a similar high-risk environment
* Experience developing policies and procedures from the ground up
* Confident communicator able to influence at all levels
