Job Opportunity: Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk
Trial Balance Consulting has been engaged by a rapidly expanding construction-focused business based in Newquay. They are urgently seeking to recruit a part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk for an interim period of 3-4 months, starting as soon as possible. The role will be full-time and based in the company's modern offices.
The Purchase Ledger Clerk will work closely with an experienced Financial Controller and support a small finance team. Key responsibilities include:
1. Inputting purchase ledger invoices
2. Matching supplier invoices to PO numbers
3. Reconciling payments against supplier invoices
4. Acting as a first point of contact for supplier queries
5. Assisting in the preparation of payment runs
This fast-paced role is suitable for candidates with at least 6 months of recent experience in an accounts payable environment. Candidates can be either QBE or part/fully AAT qualified and should possess excellent communication skills, as the post holder will liaise regularly with suppliers.
