Responsibilities of a Security Operations Consultant
* Support the growth of SOC capabilities for clients
* Implement and manage security tools within the SOC environment, considering immediate requirements and long-term strategic plans
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate threat intelligence feeds, playbooks, and response workflows into SOC operations
* Conduct SOC readiness assessments, identify gaps, and propose next steps
Requirements of a Security Operations Consultant
* Must have active SC clearance
* 3+ years experience within Cyber Security Operations related roles
* Solid understanding of SOC best practices and relevant regulations
* Experience deploying, configuring, and managing security tools within SOC environments (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
