KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this exciting business on the outskirts of Newcastle in their search for a Part-time Management Accountant. This is a standalone role where you will get heavily involved in the financial control and profitability of the business. Your duties will be as follows: Supporting the financial management of multiple projects and ensuring accurate reporting Maintaining financial control, managing cash flow, and supporting project profitability Production of monthly management accounts Supporting financial year-end processes, including P11Ds and audit preparation Processing and managing business overheads such as premises rent and insurance Preparation and submission of VAT returns Supporting monthly applications for payment and providing financial data to management Preparing cash flow forecasts in line with payment schedules Maintaining and updating the fixed asset register Completing PAYE submissions and payments to HMRC Processing payroll for monthly staff Reconciling supplier statements and managing supplier payment runs You will have worked in a similar role previously and have strong IT skills, ideally in Excel and Sage. Knowledge of WIP, CVR and project based financial reporting would be advantageous.
