Mowbray Education Trust is seeking an experienced
Governance and Compliance Director
to lead our governance, compliance, and risk management strategy. Acting as
Company Secretary
, you will ensure the highest standards of regulatory oversight, statutory compliance, and corporate governance across the Trust.
This pivotal role includes:
* Developing and maintaining a robust governance framework.
* Leading compliance and risk management strategies.
* Overseeing GDPR and data protection.
* Advising the Trust Board and committees on governance and regulatory matters.
* Managing governance professionals and supporting Trustee development.
About You
You will have proven experience in governance and compliance at a senior level, ideally within education or the public sector. Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence strategic decision-making are essential.
