Responsibilities
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues in PACCAR diesel engines and Peterbilt/Kenworth chassis
* Perform routine preventive maintenance services
* Utilize troubleshooting trees/schematics to identify failures
* Conduct comprehensive inspections to assess the condition of engines and recommend necessary repairs
* Work closely with other team members and departments
* Maintain detailed records
* Stay up to date with the latest PACCAR diagnostic tools, software updates, and repair techniques
* Comply with all safety guidelines and regulations
* Other duties, as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
* At least 2 years of experience as a diesel technician (preferably with PACCAR engines)
* Must provide your own tools (all major air tools 3/4" will be provided)
* Strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics and electronic systems
* Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment (preferably Davie4)
* Excellent problem-solving abilities
* Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
* Strong communication skills
* High school diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training
