* Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults, including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, and forensic services with low and medium secure care.
* Specialist mental health inpatient care for individuals with learning disabilities, alongside specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.
* Extensive community physical health and well‑being services for children and adults, covering prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and long‑term condition management.
The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,500 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites. The organisation offers opportunities for medics, mental health, general nurses, children’s nurses, allied health professionals, psychology, administration and clerical staff, apprentices and volunteers, as well as those specialising in learning disabilities and community physical health services.
Role Summary
As an EDS Practitioner within the specialist EDS field, you will work within a multidisciplinary team and carry out a diverse range of duties. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments of new referrals, managing a clinical caseload of clients with complex needs, providing therapeutic interventions, facilitating therapeutic groups, liaising with other services, supporting carers, and maintaining continuous professional development.
Main Duties of the Job
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the ward, including patient areas, communal spaces, and staff areas.
* Ensure infection prevention and control procedures are followed at all times.
* Order, monitor, and restock supplies such as cleaning materials, linen, and ward essentials.
* Assist in creating a comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients.
* Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly.
* Work collaboratively with nursing and clinical staff to support ward operations.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Midwife (RMN) qualification and registration.
* Information technology skills sufficient to undertake the post.
Knowledge
* Ability to think systemically and holistically.
* Demonstrable knowledge and skills in evidence‑based needs‑led assessments of highly complex and co‑morbid presentations of children, young people, families, and carers.
* Demonstrable knowledge and skills in evidence‑based therapeutic interventions relevant to the needs of this client group.
Experience
* Two years post‑qualifying experience in a related field.
* Evidence of ability to effectively manage own workload and work autonomously.
