We're looking for a proactive finance professional to support our Grimsby Seafood Finance Lead, enhancing site-level reporting and driving continuous improvement across yield, stock, labour, and cost reporting.
You'll work hand-in-hand with operational teams and senior finance leaders to ensure financial accuracy, meaningful analysis, and a culture of performance accountability.
The Ideal Candidate
You're a detail-driven finance professional who's confident communicating across functions and thrives in a manufacturing environment.
* CIMA or ACCA qualified, with experience in site finance, management accounting, or operations finance
* Proven track record in manufacturing or FMCG environments
* Excellent attention to detail and a right-first-time mindset
* Comfortable leading discussions with operational teams and presenting insights to senior stakeholders
* Collaborative team player who contributes to a high-performance culture

Your Key Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with the Grimsby Seafood Finance Lead to deliver accurate, insightful weekly and monthly plant reporting
* Lead the preparation and delivery of Continuous Improvement (CI) reports, offering actionable insights into key cost and efficiency metrics
* Reconcile commercial and P&L gross margins, ensuring consistency and investigating discrepancies
* Build business cases through well-articulated, right-first-time CAPEX proposals for senior review
* Play a key role in operational performance meetings, identifying areas for improvement and supporting data-driven decision-making
* Report on and analyse:
o Yield performance and labour efficiency
o SKU mix impact on cost, yield, and labour
o Operational spend and inventory movement
o DIO trends and cost-saving initiatives linked to AFE tracking
o Own the identification and reporting of R&D tax credit opportunities across the site
