English Tutor
Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
1. Conduct one-on-one or group English language tutoring sessions.
2. Develop and implement personalised lesson plans based on students' needs and abilities.
3. Assist students in improving their English language skills in areas such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency.
4. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them progress in their language learning journey.
5. Monitor and assess students' progress through regular assessments and evaluations.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in English language or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching English to non-native speakers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Proficiency in British English grammar and spelling.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in English language or a related field.
Experience:
Previous experience in teaching English to non-native speakers.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Knowledge of language learning methodologies and techniques.
- Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- TEFL or CELTA certification.
- Experience teaching English as a second language.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time, temporary position.
- Flexible hours based on student availability.
- Work may involve travel to students' homes or other locations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
