What we'd like to see on your CV
6. 2 Years of industry experience with either:
7. a) Strong background in Full Stack Capability Development (4+ years) in JavaScript / Typescript with some experience in DevOps and have mindset to develop operation skills.
8. b) Strong background in DevOps with breadth of experience taking leadership positions in both Development (2+ years) and Operations (2+ years) including setting up toolsets such as Kubernetes.
9. Leads large pieces of work: Either by yourself or working with other members of team.
10. Adaptable and Flexible Work: Can take on broad range of coding and non-coding tasks (described in ‘What You’ll do’ section) with frequent visits and work on customer sites.
11. Owning customer relationships: Whilst primarily working in BT office there will be regular opportunities to engage customers both face to face and via Video Conferencing. You will be responsible for building and owning customer relationships. This includes managing expectations, put the customer first whilst still acting commercially.
You may also have
12. Preferably experience in JavaScript ES6 onwards using React.js, TypeScript, knowledge of functional components and hooks.
13. Experience in other JavaScript Frameworks and other programming languages including Python, Ruby, Bash, Node.js.
14. Familiarity with code development and management best practises. The team uses Git and Visual Studio Code.
15. Experience in working in DevOps and Agile Teams. The team has just migrated to use Gitlab
16. Experience using Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, OKD or knowledge of other Orchestration tools.
17. General knowledge of Elastic Stack, which may include:
18. Kibana, constructing queries, dashboard or plugin creation.
19. Elasticsearch, working with large datasets and use of API’s.
20. Logstash, management, configuration, and improvements, extending with Plugins.
