Our client, is currently seeking a Planning Manager to join their development management team. This contract role is offering a unique opportunity to significantly impact town planning within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the development management team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality planning services
Managing and coordinating town planning projects from inception to completion
Providing expert advice and guidance on development management and planning policies
Liaising with stakeholders, including developers, council members, and the public
Ensuring compliance with relevant planning legislation and regulations
Preparing and presenting reports and recommendations to council committees
Delivering projects within set timelines and budgets
Promoting sustainable development practices within the planning framework
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in development management and town planning
In-depth understanding of planning policies and regulations
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency in preparing and presenting detailed planning reports
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Relevant degree in planning or a related discipline
