Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead a critical gas infrastructure project involving Above Ground Installation (AGI) and Pressure Reduction Station (PRS) upgrades. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a focus on safety, quality, and deadline adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and coordinate all site activities, contractors, and personnel during the 18-week programme.
2. Ensure the delivery of the construction phase within a strict 10-week gas off period.
3. Provide supervision, customer liaison, and technical support to the Project Manager.
4. Manage planning, preparation, and logistics from 7th May (home-based), transitioning to site management from 30th June.
5. Maintain compliance with CDM Regulations, gas specifications, and IGE/TD/13 standards.
6. Coordinate civil, mechanical, testing, and commissioning activities.
7. Act as Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) and uphold safety procedures and site standards.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in UK gas infrastructure projects.
