We’re on the lookout for talented and driven Design Managers to join our growing team across a variety of exciting and complex projects – from residential and commercial fit-outs to large-scale infrastructure and mixed-use developments.
As a Design Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving high-quality design outcomes across all project stages – from bid to build – working alongside multidisciplinary teams, top-tier consultants, and forward-thinking clients.
🔧 What You'll Be Doing
* Lead and coordinate design delivery across pre-construction and delivery phases.
* Manage internal and external design teams across diverse sectors (residential, commercial, healthcare, education, etc.).
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Building Safety Act, and best practice standards.
* Collaborate closely with planning, commercial, and delivery teams to align design with budget, programme, and buildability.
* Drive innovation in digital design, sustainability, MMC, and offsite methodologies.
* Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and consultants to maintain project excellence.
✅ What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Design Manager or Senior Design Coordinator in the UK construction industry.
* Background in leading design on D&B contracts across varied project scales (£10m–£200m+).
* Strong technical knowledge of UK building regulations, CDM, and planning processes.
* Proficiency in BIM (Level 2+) and digital collaboration tools.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
* Architecture, engineering, or construction-related degree preferred.
