About the team:
The UK has around 50,000 convenience stores, including independents (both unaffiliated and symbol groups). The sector is worth over £45bn in sales, with alcohol accounting for 18%. Our key account customers are spread across England, Scotland, and Wales, focusing on joint sales growth and value opportunities.
The Convenience Key Account team aims to transform Diageo’s presence in the sector by connecting brands with SME local businesses, leveraging route-to-consumer expertise, unlocking new opportunities, and keeping independent operators at the core of decision-making. The Key Account Executive will lead the commercial agenda for approximately 100 outlets, focusing on growing P&L through acquiring new customers, increasing distribution of priority brands, gaining market share, and executing activations.
