About the role
As a Resource Planner at KP Snacks, you will play a key role in keeping our Ashby site running smoothly. Working in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment, you will plan and coordinate labour across multiple production lines to ensure we meet demand safely and efficiently.
Acting as the first point of contact for labour planning, you will work closely with Line Leads, Operations Managers and the wider operations team to balance resource, manage risk and respond quickly to changing priorities. This is a high-impact role where strong organisation, clear communication and proactive thinking will make a real difference every day.
Our Ashby site is one of our largest, with around 650 colleagues producing around 650 tonnes of snacks every week in a 54,000m² facility.

What will you be doing?
* Leading labour planning across site
Ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time to meet production demand
* Managing resource allocation
Use planning tools to optimise staffing levels across multiple lines in a 24/7 environment, including holiday approvals within agreed limits
* Identifying risks and gaps
Spot potential labour shortfalls early and take action to resolve or escalate
* Collaborating with stakeholders
Work closely with Line Leads, 24hr Managers and Operations Managers to maintain efficient operations
* Communicating clearly and consistently
Provide timely updates to keep the wider operations team aligned
