Sheffield United Football Club is looking fora highly motivated personoriented HR Advisor to join our HumanResources team.
The HR Advisor will deliverefficient and effective HR support and advice to staff andstakeholders by providing firstline contact on peoplerelated issuesensuring compliance and consistency with internal processes andlegal requirements. The ideal candidate will be a strongadministrator who will manage the HR Administration team and takeresponsibility for ensuring club HR data and administrativeprocedures are up to date and accurate.

Tasks
RoleResponsibilities:
* AnalyseClub HR data and produce reports based on agreedspecifics.
* Provide HR advice to management onemployee relations and managementissues.
* Support in the review creation andimplementation of HR policies andprocedures.
* Coaching Managers how to get thebest out of their staff using the performance and developmentreview process and or relevant policies detailed within the staffhandbook.
* Support the recruitment advisor toprovide proactive recruiting assistance and guidance tostakeholders across the Club.
* Coordinating theonboarding process for new starters
* Ensure thatall HR files and systems are updated andmaintained.
* Advising staff and stakeholders onstaff development opportunities andprocedures
* Lead on the continuous review andimprovement of HR systems.
* Provide stakeholdersupport with employee relations matters ensuring that our policiesand procedures are followed. Coach and advise on best practice andhelp them prepare to lead and chair processes e.g. disciplinary andgrievance.
* Be a trusted colleague and confidentto staff who may be experiencing difficulties personal or workrelated. Where appropriate and where able give advice on proceduraloptions or wellbeing support the club canoffer.
* Proactively Line manages the HRAdministrator providing clear direction as to their daytoday rolesand responsibilities. Actively seek opportunities to enhance theirknowledge and experience formally documenting through the club PDRprocess.
* Ensure all HR administrationprocedures are followed in line with agreed times scales andaccuracy.
* Liaise and support the wider HR team/ managers with their subject matters such as EDI Safeguarding andHealth and Safety.
* Support the Head of HR toidentify continuous improvement opportunities withinHR.
* Lead in the communication with supportersvia the Club complaints procedure ensuring fair and consistentresponses.
* Any other reasonable requests asdirected bymanagement.

Requirements
EssentialCriteria youneed:
* Experience inemployment law relating to daytoday HRmatters.
* Knowledge of relevant HR policies andprocedures.
* Experience in interpreting advisingand implementing such agreements andprocedures.
* Ability to use a HR informationsystem including accessing inputting and compilingdata.
* The verbal communication skills tocommunicate with a diverse client group.
* Thewritten communication skills to produce succinct correspondence andreports.
* The ability to research analyse andreason logically within tight and conflictingtimeframes.
* Experience in leading and workingeffectively in teams.
* Experience in supervisingstaff and assuming responsibility for workloadallocation.
* Role model the Clubvalues.
* Ability to write and presentinformation.
DesirableCriteria for therole:
* CIPD level 3/5 orother relevant HR qualification
* Knowledge ofthe best practice on recruitment andselection
* Experience in leading projects andimplementing newinitiatives.
