About The Role
The Consultancy Services Manager plays a key role within the Innovation and Business Partnerships (IBP) team, helping to grow the University’s knowledge exchange and commercial activity. You will lead on the development and day-to-day management of our consultancy and Enterprise Unit portfolios, acting as the key link between academic colleagues and external organisations.
You’ll provide end-to-end support for consultancy projects, from costing through to reporting, ensuring a high-quality service. Working closely with colleagues across Research Development, Finance and Contracts, you will use systems such as Worktribe and Hubspot to manage activity and maintain oversight of the pipeline.
You’ll also use your project management skills to support the development and delivery of the University’s Enterprise Units, helping to bring new initiatives from concept through to implementation. This is an excellent opportunity to shape and enhance the University’s consultancy offer while building strong relationships across the institution and with external partners.
About You
You will be a highly organised, detail-oriented person, confident working with systems, spreadsheets and data to keep activity on track. You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities, using a structured approach to ensure projects progress smoothly and deadlines are met.
You’re also a clear and confident communicator who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders. You’ll be comfortable presenting, and promoting consultancy activity across the University.
