Key Responsibilities The HSQE Co-ordinator will be responsible for managing their own workload to high standards in a range of varied tasks in a busy office, manufacturing and warehouse environment. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to
Responsibilities: Health and Safety
Ensure Compliance with Regulations, Standards and Company Policies - Oversee that all operations comply with local, and national, safety, environmental, and quality standards. This includes monitoring adherence to regulations, industry codes, and internal policies.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation Manage and Monitor existing risk assessments for each operational unit and ensure that mitigation plans are in place. This includes identifying potential hazards and implementing safety protocols to prevent accidents or incidents.
Training and Awareness Programs - Facilitate training sessions for contractors on health, safety, environmental, and quality best practices. Ensure that all contractor documentation is completed and signed off prior to work starting. Ensure that everyone is aware of potential risks and understands how to minimize them.
Inspection and Auditing Carry out regular inspections of sites to ensure HSQE standards are being met. Conduct internal audits, safety walkthroughs, and inspections, addressing any issues or discrepancies immediately to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Conduct Daily CDM site walkabout and audits.
Incident Investigation and Reporting - In the event of any accidents, environmental incidents, or quality concerns, lead investigations to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and report findings to stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement.
Responsibilities: Quality
Manufacturing
Work to clear standards to ensure that all goods produced at our Doncaster manufacturing site and to a high standard and inline with the quality standards set with the Quality Engineer.
Training plans to all staff need to be conducted daily to ensure all staff are aware of their targets and standards that need to be met.
Once clear standards are established, support the operational team by creating Quality Boards to visually show standards for these products
Support a program of continuous quality improvement on our manufacturing lines, carrying out line checks of products against established standards and carrying out process audits to support the operational teams.
Create daily and weekly performance documents for quality in Doncaster and inform the stakeholders of the continuous improvement programs you are implementing.
Warehouse
Helping to establish standards for incoming goods of all supplied products, ensure that FIFO is utilised by auditing and reporting
Once clear standards are established, support the operational team in maintaining high levels of quality in materials entering the business from our suppliers.
Liaise with the procurement team and quality team to communicate quality issues with our suppliers effectively. Record and monitor supplier quality levels and support our suppliers in projects to improve quality and service to DoorCo.
Take a lead on making Quality visible to the business, establishing and displaying examples of good and bad practices and contributing to the wider goal of building and promoting a thriving quality culture at DoorCo

Knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality practice
