Overview
We are recruiting for Reach & Counterbalance FLT drivers on behalf of our Client, a global distribution company based out of their Distribution Centre in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire to work on a combination role of forklift and machine operative - HP2 to work on their PM shift;
Pay and shift
Sunday to Thursday £13.49 per hour. OT after 40 hours £20.10 per hour (Reach - D2 or Counterbalance)
Licensing
FLT Licenses must be either RTITB or ITSSAR accredited
Role scope
You will be required to work in the warehouse and this role can be more than just FLT work; you will be loading and unloading vehicles using a boom attachment and on occasion operating machinery when you are not on the forklift so you will never become bored in this role!
Full training will be given on all equipment
Responsibilities
* Working within in a team, under pressure and handle a fast paced busy environment
* Operating cutting machinery (training given)
* Operating rolling machinery (training given)
* Loading and unloading of vehicles (using FLT truck)
* Available to work weekly as per the shift pattern
The successful candidate will need the following
* Current Reach Truck / Counterbalance license essential
* D2 - ITSSAR OR RTITB accredited
* Driving license desirable to be able to travel to and from location
Required skills
* Loading
* Reach & Counterbalance FLT experience, and had a refresher within the last 3 years. (RTITB or ITSSAR)
* Physically fit due to some heavy lifting being required
* Excellent command of spoken and written English
