ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced and dedicated Classroom Assistant to join a well-established SEN School in Dudley on a full-time basis. The Role: Support the day-to-day running of classrooms across the school. Provide tailored assistance to students with Autism and moderate learning difficulties, both 1:1 and in small groups. Collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to create a supportive, engaging, and structured learning environment. Adapt quickly and professionally to the changing needs of students and the school day. About you: To be considered for the Classroom Assistant position, you will: Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism, and sensory needs. Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential. Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
