Oxford Instruments Materials Analysis is seeking an AFM Applications Scientist to join their Applications team. This role is ideal if you want to contribute as an in-house AFM expert, providing technical expertise and support both internally and externally, are passionate about developing and communicating new applications and techniques, and have experience and extensive knowledge of the theory and operation of AFMs.
The role involves performing AFM demonstrations, compiling demonstration reports, assisting and advising the sales and marketing teams on technical and scientific matters, performing AFM installations at customer sites, providing expert technical support to customers, developing new applications and techniques, and presenting new application developments and data at conferences and workshops.
