We're looking for an experienced Distribution Manager to support day-to-day DC operations and play a key role in developing a colleague identified as a future DC Manager successor. You'll provide hands-on coaching and exposure across key areas including financial acumen, influencing skills, project & stakeholder management and succession planning. This role is ideal for a strong leader who enjoys developing talent while keeping the operation running smoothly. Responsible for leading the 24/7 operation ensuring visionary leadership, strategic thinking ,effective cost control and successful management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set by the Business. * Experienced Operations Leader- managing, motivating and developing colleagues to cultivate a performance culture
* Previous experience in project management- being part of a team and leading a team
* Previous experience in a time sensitive environment with various sites and managers
* Proven experience of managing change and initiating improvements, maintaining objectives/KPIs
* Previous experience of recruitment and selection
