We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Medivet Daventry.
You will work as part of our nurse team to utilize all your nursing skills—surgical and medical nursing, conducting nurse clinics alongside our vets. We have a long-standing, friendly client base that appreciates the personal service we provide. You will be part of a fully supportive team dedicated to their clients and patients.
The practice is ideally situated close to the town centre and is well-equipped with ultrasound, ECG, dental facilities, an in-house laboratory, and separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas.
This role is 36 hours per week, including 1 in 6 weekends. The salary ranges from £27,000 to £28,800.

Role Accountabilities

In this role, you will:
* Consistently deliver exceptional care to clients.
* Support surgeries and procedures, completing all pre- and post-procedure activities.
* Carry out nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
* Deliver patient monitoring and care.
* Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
* Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
* Dispense and check medication.
* Ensure professional standards and compliance with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
* Hold briefings to engage and coordinate your team for effective practice operation.
Your Skills and Experience
* RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
* Experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care.
* Effective team-working skills.
* Supportive of Nurse consultations, understanding their contribution to practice performance.
* Skilled in coaching and influencing colleagues for best outcomes.
