Job Title: SRM Co-ordinator
As an SRM Co-ordinator, you will:
1. Coordinate the pathway for patients on the Lung Cancer Screening Programme, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients requiring onward referral for both cancer and non-cancer findings are tracked appropriately and receive the recommended care.
2. Have line management responsibilities, overseeing a team of Band 3 Lung Cancer Screening Waiting List and Appointment Coordinators, including workforce planning, training, and development to support delivering high-quality care.
3. Coordinate the pathway for patients on the Targeted Lung Health Check (TLHC) programme who require a review of their low-dose screening CT scan.
4. Record and monitor screening review meeting outcomes within the TLHC Management system, ensuring patients needing onward referral are tracked and receive appropriate care.
5. Work alongside the team providing Lung Health Check elements of the programme, providing screening checks when required.
6. Manage line responsibilities for the Band 3 TLHC Waiting List and Appointments Coordinators.
7. Serve as a key contact between the TLHC team and the Cancer Services team (and other trust clinical teams) to ensure effective management and tracking of care pathways for patients with suspected cancer.
