About the Role
Were supporting a fast-growing, well-established business in Burton upon Trent looking to hire a Part-Time Finance Assistant. This is a key role within a busy finance team, focused on supporting high-volume transactions and maintaining strong financial processes as the company continues to grow.
What Youll Be Doing
Managing financial administration for purchases, handling multiple transactions at once
Processing high-value payments and carrying out accurate reconciliations
Recording cost of sales to support reporting and performance tracking
Maintaining organised, audit-ready financial documentation
Uploading and managing records in accounting systems (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies
Supporting daily finance operations and working closely with internal teams
Assisting with continuous improvement of finance processes
What Were Looking For
Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Bookkeeping, or similar role
Experience with Xero (knowledge of Sage and/or QuickBooks is a bonus)
Good understanding of accounting principles
Strong Excel skills and xsngvjr attention to detail
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
