What's on Offer: Rate of Pay: £14.12 per hour (plus Holiday and Pension) Hours: Working between the hours of 04:00 to 22:00 - Average of 6-hour shifts but could increase to 8 to 12 hour shifts in peak periods. Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Shift working timings include: early starts, late finishes, nights, weekdays and weekends. Staff parking. Weekly pay (Every Friday) Temp to Perm (performance-based) Key Duties: Conduct pre-use equipment inspections by completing the Daily Equipment Check Sheet, ensuring all assets are safe, compliant, and operational. Escalate and report any defects in line with established inspection procedures. Safely transport or collect passengers requiring special assistance at the aircraft door, supporting their transfer to seating or wheelchair using correct manual handling techniques and safety-first principles. Operate as directed by Allocations Control, coordinating the movement of arriving and departing passengers (and accompanying persons where applicable) across the airport environment, either on foot or via wheelchair. Support airside and landside vehicle movements where required, providing clear guidance to ensure safe navigation and positioning in line with operational safety standards. Assist with passenger baggage handling where necessary, ensuring care, efficiency, and adherence to handling guidelines. Maintain all mobility equipment (wheelchairs, aisle chairs, slings) in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition, in line with health and safety requirements. Provide real-time operational updates to Allocations Control via IT communication devices, ensuring visibility of task progress and any emerging issues. Complete all operational documentation accurately and within required timelines, maintaining compliance and audit readiness. Remain flexible to undertake additional duties as required by operational management, supporting overall service delivery and efficiency. Requirements: Must hold a valid UK driving license. Previous Airline &/or Airport experience is desired although not essential as full training will be provided. Basic IT Skills Great understanding of the English language. Drivers who are passionate and take pride in their work. Must be able to provide 5-year checkable history, in order for us to obtain your blue airside pass.
