About the Role
You will be part of the Voluntary Sector Support team, which supports charities, volunteers, and community groups in Horsham District. The Coordinator will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking volunteering opportunities and will support charities and organisations in volunteer recruitment. Responsibilities include managing the Voluntary Sector Support website (www.volunteerhorshamdistrict.co.uk).
Candidate Profile
* Solution- and customer-focused with experience in working with diverse groups.
* Knowledge of legislation and guidance related to volunteering and the charity sector.
* Competent in IT and highly detail-oriented.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must have a current UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel around the District is required.
