Quality Engineer – Aviation Component Maintenance
New opportunity for a quality engineer with a strong understanding of EASA Part 145 regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct scheduled internal and external audits and inspections.
* Ensure independence of the Quality Departments to comply with EASA Part 145 regulations.
* Manage the Maintenance Occurrence Reporting (MOR) and Incident Occurrence Reporting (IOR) schemes.
* Stay updated on the latest EASA Part 145 regulations and Safety Management Systems (SMS) for risk‑based management.
* Oversee day‑to‑day administration and control of the quality department and audit programme.
* Administer company manuals and the company authorisation system in line with legislation.
* Investigate and prepare reports on quality, technical, and maintenance issues using the MEDA methodology.
* Manage non‑conformance and engage in negotiations with manufacturers/vendors on quality matters related to the maintenance of customer aircraft.
Qualifications & Prerequisites
* Experience in an airline, maintenance, or quality safety environment.
* Demonstrable ability to conduct audits effectively.
* Solid understanding of EASA Part 145 regulations.
* Familiarity with Q Pulse Quality Management Software.
