We are recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of mechanical building services, specialising in a diverse range of projects including warehouses and large residential properties. With project values up to £7 million, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions tailored to their clients' needs.
Your new role
As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate andpetitive cost estimates for mechanical building services projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical building services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for mechanical building services projects.
2. Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare estimates.
3. Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient cost estimation.
4. Utilise the CYPHER system for estimating and project management.
5. Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
6. Ensurepliance with industry standards andpany procedures.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of estimating standards and workflows. ️
What you'll need to succeed
8. Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the building services industry.
9. Previous experience with the CYPHER system is beneficial but not essential.
10. Strong understanding of mechanical building services.
11. Excellentmunication and teamwork skills. ️
12. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
13. Attention to detail and amitment to quality. ️
