Electrical Qualifying Supervisor – Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance

Salary: £48,000 + van and fuel card

Responsibilities
* Act as the main point of contact between the Technical Compliance Team, NICEIC, SHE, Managers and the client.
* Carry out Risk Assessments for electrical works and staff.
* Verify all electricians’ inspection and testing results, whether electronically or on paper, in a timely manner to prevent delays and ensure due care.
* Serve as the registered Qualifying Supervisor for the branch and complete any assessments required by NICEIC.
Qualifications
* Experience installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations.
* Experience supervising a team of electricians, including developing and training apprentices.
* Knowledge of installation, repair, inspection, and testing of electrical installations and the ability to complete appropriate Electrical Certificates or Electrical Condition Reports.
* Full electrical qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Test & Inspect, 18th Edition and NICEIC.
* Previous experience as an NICEIC approved Electrical QST.
