Refuse Loader
Location: Brentwood CM13 3BH
Hourly rate: £13.33
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Brentwood Borough Council for a Refuse Loader to temporarily join their busy team within the Council's Waste & Recycling Collection department.
The successful candidate will be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weathers.
Duties:
* Responsible for refuse and recycling collection from all properties listed including wheeled bins, bulk containers, sacks, and bulky items.
* Manual handling, clearing of fly tipping, manoeuvring wheeled bins between storage points and vehicles, use of the lifting mechanism on the vehicle.
* Litter picking and bin emptying.
* Walking up to 10 miles per day.
* Maintaining a good service to the public at all times.
