Tyne Coast College Group is seeking an exceptional strategic leader to join our Executive Team as Executive Director: Transformation and Resources. This is a pivotal role, responsible for driving large‑scale transformation, initially supporting the current construction of a New Build college campus and associated development projects. The role will look to drive change throughout the college, advancing our People and Estates strategies, and leading our Marketing and Communications functions across the Group.

About the Role
As a key member of the Executive Team, you will:
* Lead major transformation projects, advising the CEO and COO on innovation and organisational change.
* Act as the strategic lead for People, Estates, Marketing and Communications, ensuring these functions deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
* Oversee the development and delivery of the Group Strategic Plan, annual priorities, and local visions.
* Provide strategic counsel on the management, interpretation and publication of College data and information.
* Lead policy development across the Group and act as Lead Officer for the Business Development Committee.
* Shape and manage external communications and published information, strengthening the College’s reputation locally, regionally, and nationally.
* Ensure internal customer satisfaction through responsive, service‑driven functions.
* Play an active role in driving the College’s strategic direction as part of the College Executive Group.

About You

* Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Experience managing budgets and delivering major construction projects in high‑pressure environments.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and equality, diversity and inclusion.
Experience
* At least three years’ senior‑level management experience with strategic responsibility.
* A successful track record of leading major change, projects, or programmes in large/complex organisations.
* Experience working at executive or board level.
* Ideally, experience within the education sector or a strong understanding of the UK education landscape.
Qualifications
* A relevant degree or professional qualification, or significant relevant experience.
* Level 2 Maths and English (GCSE grade 4/5 or above or equivalent).
* Strong digital literacy and evidence of ongoing professional development.
